Welcome to the 26th German Goldpanning Championships from June 29th to July 1st 2012 in Goldkronach!

The 26th German Championships in Gold panning will be another highlight in the Goldpanner's community!
 

Highlight of Saturday night will be our chairman playing life on stage "The Brassbound Rockets". After that a firework will highlight the sky over the coldpanner's camp!

In a special show we will show Paper Gold from our members.

Apart from the Open category we will also have the traditional category where we will give the pans. In the open category we will stick to the competition mode where every panner has to pan at least two times before entering the quarter or semi final (or not). Details will be announced before the competition.

To make the competition more fair for children we will have two categories for children < 12 years, one with help from the parents and one without additional help but with medails.

In the 3 people team the first starter needs to pan with the Traditional pan, the 2 people team must be a woman and a man.

Additional, the four best panners from the German Gold seaking association from categories Professional Men, Women, Veterans, Youth and Traditional will compete for an extra heavy Nugget! Memebership can still be obtained while registering for the championships!

There are nuggets to win valued over 1000 EUR total! 

The competitions start on June 30th around 10 am. Registration is possible at the competition site on Friday afternoon and evening and on Saturday morning until 9 am.

The final of all categories is on Sunday before the winners receive their prices at the victory ceremony. Competition place is like 2010 the barn in Goldkronach - Dressendorf. There is a lawn for free camping next to the competition area. There will be no electrical power for camping!

There will be BBQ on all three days, Saturday and Sunday afternoon coffee and cake. Breakfast bufet on saturday and Sunday for 5,00 EUR.

Here the fees for the categories. Any second category booked apart from the first main category will be at a reduced price of € 10!

Fees are as following:

Open Men € 20,00

Open Women € 20,00

Amateurs € 20,00

Seniors € 20,00 / € 10,00 reduced

Traditional € 20,00 / € 10,00 reduced

Youth < 16 years € 10,00

Kids < 12 years - Free

Team (2 and 3 people) € 5,00 per person

The fee includes the panned Gold and a diploma.
